HOW IT WORKS:
STARTING: After the yellow button has been pressed, the yellow light turns ON and the pump starts forcibly for ten seconds, during this time the sensor detects the normal function and the green light turns ON. At the end of the ten seconds the
yellow lamp goes OFF and the green light remains ON indicating that the pump is running under normal conditions.
NO WATER: When the bore runs out of water, the green light turns OFF and the TIMER begins to count the time for the bore to refill. Once the time lapses, the pump will be started automatically and it will run until the water again runs out.
At the right hand side of the picture above the Float Switch plug can be seen; when a float switch from a tank or dam,
or a pressure switch is connected, Pumptron will run only when the switch is ON. This function will operate with any type of level or pressure switching device.
OVERLOAD: Many reasons can cause a pump to overload. (See
"Experiences" in these pages) When an overload occurs, Pumptron stops the pump and the PUMP OVERLOAD super red light flashes. Press the reset button once; if the overload condition has
disappeared, the system will resume normal function otherwise it will return
instantly to the flashing overload light. If this is the case, call for service.
WARNING, never touch
up the sensor adjust screw under any circumstances, doing so may cause the pump to run under abnormal conditions and may be irretrievably damaged.
